Brian Justin Crum was 28 years old when he auditioned for America\u2019s Got Talent in 2016.
\nBefore singing, he opened up about his childhood and the bullying he had experienced because of his sexual orientation.
\nHis mother was sitting in the audience.
\nShe had always supported his dream of becoming a singer, even during the moments when Brian struggled to believe in himself.<\/p>\n
Then he stepped onto the stage.
\nFor his audition, he chose Queen\u2019s legendary Somebody to Love.
\nIt was an enormous challenge.
\nBut the moment Brian began singing, the nervousness disappeared.<\/p>\n
His voice exploded across the theater.

But Brian\u2019s journey was far from over.
\nHe continued delivering powerful performances throughout the season, including Creep, In the Air Tonight, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, and Man in the Mirror.
\nHis combination of vocal power and emotional storytelling made him one of the season\u2019s standout performers.<\/p>\n
And when the final results were announced, Brian Justin Crum finished fourth overall.
